We sometimes employ doctors from outside our practice to provide extra surgeries. All of these doctors are fully qualified and have experience working in General Practice. We will be informing you when you make your appointment that the doctor you are seeing is a locum and whether they are male or female.
We are a Training Practice
GP Registrars: We usually have one or more doctors working with us who are gaining additional experience in general practice. You are able to make an appointment with them as with any of the other doctors.
Medical Students: We are a teaching practice and occasionally have medical students from the University of Leeds sitting in on surgeries and clinics. They gain valuable learning by sitting in during consultations but if you wish to see the doctor alone please tell the receptionist or doctor. A sign on the reception desk will inform you when a doctor has a medical student sitting in with them.
